If you still have thank you cards to write for all the Christmas presents you received, then I suggest that you order these stunningly beautiful notecards featuring the artwork of Jeremiah Goodman. I received a lovely email yesterday from gallery owner Dean Rhys Morgan about the notecards after he found my blog post on Carolina Herrera and Jeremiah Goodman. Her sitting room (above) is one of the 16 different images included in the set that he sells on his site. I was also excited to discover that Mr. Rhys Morgan also sells prints by Jeremiah Goodman, Kenneth Paul Block and Jay Hyde Crawford among others. They would all make a chic present to yourself to start the New Year or to apologize to someone if your behavior gets out of hand tonight! Happy New Year!

A few more hours to go and we step into a new year!
It is time to bring a special thank to all of my bloggerfriends and readers!
I want to thank all of you for the support you have given me the past months writing my blog!
I feel so honoured to have met so many wonderful, interesting people among my blogger colleagues and readers!
To me it was a huge adventure starting my own blog and I had no idea that I was going to meet such a wonderful, lovely people as you all are! You are from all over the world, from Canada to South-Africa!
You all have given a new dimension to my life. The new energy that I felt by starting my blog and meeting all of you, was enormous! I want to thank you so much for that!

Entre manos
By www.lightaslife.com On December 31st, 2009Este es uno de mis trabajos navideños. Ya está en marcha . Supongo que está clarísimo.
Si no me equivoco , el modelo apareció hace tiempo en la portada de un libro de la misma autora, o algo así , que vi en la primera feria de Creativa……. y me gustó mucho.
Pero por entonces ,como todas las cosas, cuando algo está de moda su precio deja mucho que desear…..y desistí. Pero quedó en mi recuerdo, tanto así que he ido reuniendo lo necesario poquito a poquito a lo largo del tiempo . En La Aiguille en Fete de Paris, las telas ( para las que no tenía patrón qué hacer )……. en la última feria de Creativa, la tela de lana para la chaquetita…… y hace poco ,por fin , el libro , con muchas más cosas que espero ir haciendo.
…………..Por eso , estas Navidades ha sido el momento perfecto para ” jugar a las casitas “, como dice alguien en mi familia cada vez que me ve en la habitación de costura……. y darme el gustazo de entretenerme con tiempo.
El susodicho libro anda ya por ahí en castellano ,pero yo he decidido comprarlo aquí a la mitad de precio , incluyendo envio y todo.
La moza me está dando más trabajo de lo que yo pensaba. ¡ Ojo para darle la vuelta al cuerpecito después de cosido y luego rellenarlo !LLevo dos días con ella . Voy a trompicones. Mañana espero que pueda desearos Feliz Año .
